PHYS 2305 - Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics
Focuses on first and second laws of thermodynamics, entropy and equilibrium, thermodynamic potentials, elementary kinetic theory, statistical mechanics, and the statistical interpretation of entropy. Prereq. (a) PHYS 1151 or PHYS 1161 and (b) MATH 2321.
