Focuses on public international law and its key policymaking institutions including the United Nations and the International Court of Justice. Also explores the influence of key regional organizations such as the European Union, Arab League, NATO, and the Organization of American States. Topics include state sovereignty, human rights, diplomatic relations, and treaties. Prereq. POLS 1160 and junior or senior standing.
