ENVR 2310 - Earth Materials
Describes the physical and chemical characteristics of common rock-forming minerals to enable students to interpret properties of rocks and soils. Focuses on commonly encountered minerals, soil, and rock types and how minerals are used as indicators of past and present earth processes. Prereq. (a) ENVR 1101, ENVR 1112, or ENVR 1200 and (b) ENGW 1111, ENGW 1102, ENGL 1111, or ENGL 1102 and (c) junior or senior standing.
