POLS 7200 - Perspectives on Social Science Inquiry
Explores the philosophy of science and the scientific method as applied to the social sciences and political analysis. Considers individualist perspectives (that is, rational choice), group perspectives (pluralism), structural/institutional perspectives (class analysis), and postmodern critiques. Prereq. Public and international affairs students and political science students only.
