PSYC 4520 - Language and the Brain
Focuses on language behavior from a neuropsychological viewpoint. Examines models of how the brain controls the production and comprehension of language. Considers localization of cerebral functions and hemispheric lateralization; experimental and clinical evidence for functional models; aphasia, dyslexia, and other language pathologies; and evidence from neuroimaging studies. Prereq. PSYC 3464 or PSYC 3466.
