ARTE 2101 - Introduction to Co-op
Offers students an opportunity to explore the basics of cooperative education through a careful exploration of aspects of preparation, activity, and reflection—the core of the co-op learning model. Each week students are asked to delve into different areas of self-assessment, career exploration, goals setting, and skill building. Covers résumé and cover letter writing, interviewing, self-marketing, and brand identity as well as portfolio basics and how to use the University’s online listing of jobs and other services. Guests include professionals from Career Services and employers and alumni who seek to give students insights into various arts professions. Prereq. Art + Design majors only.
