COMM 2301 - Methods and Research in Communication
Introduces the various methods through which scholars of communication develop knowledge. Includes historical, descriptive, experimental, and ethnographic methods. Expects students to engage in individual research projects designed to increase familiarity with communication literature and to develop skills in critical writing and library research. Prereq. COMM 1101 and permission of instructor.
