Studies the patterns of globalization in media and communication, in terms of cultural integration, international production and distribution, and cultural sovereignty. Examines how these communication patterns intersect with issues of community, ethnicity, and race, both locally and internationally. Prereq. COMM 1101 and sophomore standing or above.
