HIST 2350 - Modern China
Explores the far-reaching political, economic, and social changes in China from 1800 to the present. Examines the decline of the empire, the impact of the West, the rise of nationalism and industrialization, the changing roles of women, the origins of rural revolution, and establishing the communist state. Prereq. ENGW 1111, ENGW 1102, ENGL 1111, or ENGL 1102.
